蒼の躍動

全体は3部構成により、1部では地の深くにある爆発的なエネルギーとともに音楽が開始され、2部では題名の蒼(Blue)をイメージした回想、懐郷のような緩やかで淡い感情を表現、3部では未来へと進む期待や華やかさを出し、最後に力強く音楽を締めくくります。

この作品は指揮の柿川発明氏による委嘱のコーディネートにより作曲が実現し、吹奏楽、作曲に造詣のある柿川氏の作品や演奏に対する助言により作品が形成され、そして素晴らしい演奏をしてくださった長崎県立口加高等学校吹奏楽部の皆様により1つの作品として完成されたこと、大変感謝致します。

江原大介(Daisuke Ehara)

1982年東京都生まれ。東京音楽大学卒業、桐朋学園大学研究科を経て東京芸術大学大学院修士課程修了。これまでに作曲を有馬礼子、池辺晋一郎、糀場富美子、権代敦彦、安良岡章夫の各氏に師事。第1回全日本吹奏楽連盟作曲コンクール第1位受賞。

クラシック、現代音楽を中心に作曲活動をしてきたが、2009年全日本吹奏楽コンクール課題曲「躍動する魂」の作曲以後、吹奏楽作品を多く作曲、各社より録音、出版されている。

BLUE ENERGY

This piece was commissioned by Nagasaki Prefectural Koka High School. After its premiere at the school's 30th regular brass band recital on May 4th, 2014, it was performed as the school's choice piece at the All Japan Band Competition.The entire piece is composed of three parts. The first part opens with the explosive energy found in the depths of the earth, while the second part conveys the subtle and fleeting emotions associated with nostalgic memories that are reminiscent of the color "blue" in the title. The third part conveys the hope and excitement of striding into the future, and it closes with a final powerful crescendo.This piece was composed in coordination with the conductor Hatsuaki Kakigawa and it took on its final form on the basis of invaluable advice on its compositional and performance aspects offered by Mr. Kakigawa, who has tremendous experience in both wind music and composition. I would also like to express my gratitude to all members of the Nagasaki Prefectural Koka High School Brass Band who had played a major role in the completion of this piece for their wonderful performance.
