オールトの雲 クラリネット八重奏のための
この曲は、広島のクラリネットアンサンブルグループ「アンサンブル・アリオーソ」の委嘱作品として作曲され、同団体により2013年初演されました。
オールトの雲とは、オランダの天文学者ヤン・オールトが1950年に提唱したもので、太陽系を球殻状に取り巻いていると考えられている仮想的な天体群のことをいい、彗星の起源とされています。
テンポは一定ですが、スピード感を要する箇所や、暖かい息づかいで鳴らす箇所があり、様々な音色の使い分けが必要です。
This piece was commissioned for the clarinet ensemble “Ensemble Arioso” which is active in Hiroshima and was premiered by the same group in 2013.
The Oort Cloud, named after the Dutch astronomer Jan Oort, is an extended shell of icy objects that exist in the outermost reaches of the solar system.
It is thought to be the origin of most of the long-period comets that have been observed.
Throughout the piece the tempo is steady.
Performers should feel free to emphasize parts that demand greater rhythmic drive, play with warm air and be aware of using a variety of tone qualities as the music demands.
