真夏のエッセイ ～ サクソフォン四重奏のための
真夏の情景を描写した作品です。各楽章にて夏のありふれた景色をエッセイのように自由に表現しています。
演奏をして下さる皆様の中にある、夏の景色を思い浮かべながら演奏してください。
第1楽章：夏の雨じっとりとした真夏の昼間、一時の心地よさをもたらす雨は、時につよく、時に優しく降り注ぎます。
第2楽章：陽炎アスファルトに揺らぐ真夏の陽炎、人のいないそこは、まるで別世界のようです。
第3楽章：花火夜空を彩る満開の花は、次々と暗闇を照らしてゆきます。
This work portrays scenes of midsummer with each movement painting a musical picture of an event one might experience.
1st movement : Summer Rain
A portrait of the relief we all enjoy when the summer rains, s ometimes strong and sometimes gentle, come to wash away the hot , muggy heat of a summer day.
2nd movement : Heat Haze
Silver waves shimmer over the asphalt in the heat of a midsummer afternoon, creating a surreal landscape from another world.
3rd movement : Fireworks
Like giant flowers blooming in the sky, fireworks colour the night sky, lighting up the darkness.
