ただ、今回は単に「竜田揚げ」が好物というだけではないんです。ちゃんと音楽的な意味合いも絡めてあります！この曲のテーマ部には「タッタ」とはねるリズムがリフ的な感じでたくさん登場します。(もうネタは割れましたね)この「タッタ」と言うリズムで出てくるリフから名付けてます。

さらに、楽譜を読む時に休符を「ツ」で読む練習をしたりしませんか？四分休符は「ウン」、八分休符は「ツ」みたいな。この楽譜を読む練習をする時の言葉からも「タツタ」が登場します。この曲の場合、四分音符、八分休符、八分音符なので正確には「タン、ツ、タ」なのですが、最初の四分音符は短く演奏する指示があるので「タ、ツ、タ」になります。

と、まあ曲名の由来はこのくらいにして、演奏のポイントを揚げて、、、ではなく挙げてみますね。

テンポの速いスウィング(4ビート)なので、あまり跳ねようとしないで、比較的イーブンに近い形で演奏するとスピード感を落とさないで前に進む感じが維持できると思います。4ビートで大事なのはベースのノリです。ウォーキングベースのラインを上手く転がせていけると軽快なスウィングに聴こえると思います。

また、アルトとテナーがメロディー、ベースライン、ユニゾン的に交互に演奏する事になるので、その都度、「今、自分のパートは何をやっているか」を意識してダイナミクスの差をつけるとバランス良くアンサンブルできます。

今回もそれぞれにアドリブパートがあります。ぜひ挑戦してみて下さいね。サンプル譜も用意してありますので、そちらを活用して頂いても良いかと思います。

さらに後半は手の空いているパートの奏者がハンドクラップ(手拍子)を入れる指示もあります。奏者が手拍子を入れる事により、聴いて頂いているお客さんも自然に手拍子を入れやすくなります。
ぜひお客さんにも手拍子を促して一緒に盛り上げてみて下さい。僕自身、ライブでやってみたのですが、自然と会場との一体感がある盛り上がりを演出できますよ！ぜひ、お客さんと一緒に盛り揚がってみて下さい。。。また間違えた。（斎藤尚久）

TA-TSU-TA-AGE

"KaraAge," "TaTsuTaAge," and "ToriTen," all of which named after Japanese chicken dishes, are three original pieces that I perform live. Because of this, I have entitled these three pieces "DeepFried Trilogy."

"TaTsuTaAge" is a swing piece with a fast tempo.

The key to performing this piece is to avoid bouncing too much and to play the notes relatively evenly so that you can maintain the feel of moving forward without losing speed. The rhythm of the bass is the focus in the 4beat section. Having a good grasp of the walking bass line will allow the music to flow briskly like swing music.

In addition, as the alto and tenor alternate between the melody, bass line, and playing in unison, it is essential to always remain aware of the role of your part at each moment and vary the dynamics accordingly to create a wellbalanced ensemble.Each part will have its own adlib section with sample scores provided, so please take advantage of them and do your best.In addition, the second half of the piece contains directions for the musicians to clap if their hands are free. It is easier for the audience to clap along naturally when they hear this.

I have tried this out during my concert, and it allows everyone at the venue to naturally become one, which gets the audience really excited! Please try it too and get fired up with the audience!
